Quality Assurance
The Arc CCR’s Quality Enhancement Committee is made up primarily of parents whose children have a developmental disability. The committee functions are, but not limited to: incident reports, human rights, psychotropic medication review, reports reflecting an individual’s progress toward leading a self-determined life and discussing strategies that enhance the services The Arc provides.
For the past year, The Arc and its Quality Enhancement Standing Committee and People Connect, our Self-Advocacy group, have been strategically exploring ways to align the individual’s goals with board agency goals and to receive greater participation in this examination from all levels of the agency. To this effect, The Arc has instituted new evaluation components along with the revision of some existing surveys.
