Volunteer

Those who can, do. Those who can do more, volunteer.

Is this you? Volunteering can be a great way to share your set of skills and talents while making a real difference in the lives of those with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. We have several options available.

Volunteer individually:

  • In our Ambassador’s Club: Do you enjoy public speaking? Ambassadors will visit with local community groups to drum up support and share the ways in which The Arc is continually changing people’s lives for the better.
  • In our offices: Prefer to be behind the scenes? We always need administrative help in our offices. You can file to your heart’s content or pick among many other tasks that helps us help others.
  • In The Arc’s Programs: Become a friend for someone in The Arc’s programs. Share experiences and interests and make lasting friendships!

Volunteer as a group:

Looking for ways in which your group or family can volunteer together? We always need help from those with green thumbs, handyman skills, and a can do attitude to help with maintenance of our grounds, homes, and gardens.
