The Arc Central Chesapeake Region (The Arc) is thrilled to announce the promotion of Brandy Stephens to Vice President of People & Culture. Brandy’s exemplary leadership and dedication to fostering a culture of inclusivity and continuous learning have been instrumental in her success within the organization.
In her new role as Vice President of People & Culture, Brandy will provide dynamic leadership to the entire People & Culture team with a focus on supporting leaders at every level of the organization, organizational development and culture building, as well as championing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Brandy is constantly thinking of ways to improve employee experience and engagement, creating a culture of connection that amplifies The Arc’s core values. Since joining The Arc in 2023, Brandy has helped develop and launch key initiatives such as the Direct Support Professional Career Ladder.

Brandy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role, having earned a Master of Education in Higher Education from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Towson University. She has a robust background in adult learning development and higher education.
